• Super-precision toolroom lathe with Digital Threading Control is driven by a smooth 3 HP frequency controlled motor that runs virtually vibration free and extremely quiet. Easy to use LCD touchscreen to simplify threading operations by selecting target TPI or mm pitch on the screen. DRO capabilities are built-in as standard. By eliminating the traditional threading gearbox, Victor 618e toolroom lathe is easy to maintain, yet provides superior accuracy and performance.
• Digital Threading operations are microprocessor controlled and carried out by synchronized spindle speed and servo motor driven leadscrew
• LCD touchscreen to select thread pitch (TPI or mm) with no gears to change
• DRO functions integrated into LCD panel features linear scales on X & Z axis
• Infinitely variable spindle speeds from 50 ~ 4,000 rpm
• The spindle is mounted in high precision preloaded angular contact ball bearings

• Digital Threading LCD Panel: The leadscrew is driven directly by a servo motor. Through operation of interface, a spindle decoder is used to transfer the motion of leadscrew to rectilinear one. The LCD touchscreen shows the data that is applied to the control panel.
• Rapidly returning to the origin is executed according to the principle of temporarily coming off the tracking mode.
• Feed rate per minute of auto feed is calculated with MODBUS communication protocol from interior message data of the converter, therefore it enhances greater cutting precision.
